Songs for the Spirit
I believe that music includes and transcends all doctrine, philosophy, religion, modality, age, gender, or any other distinction that separates us from each other and from our Source. It is made of nothing but waves of energy, and yet music has the power to inspire us, heal us, soothe us, even annoy us - reaching us in ways nothing else can. Simply through vibration, we find ourselves in puddles or passion, or both simultaneously.
As Music Director at Trinity United Church in Vernon, BC, I had the opportunity to write and arrange music for the choir, as well as some of the general service music for Sunday mornings. Some of these are short "bookends" to open a service or send off with a blessing. Others are full anthems. As I get them recorded, I will keep adding, so stay tuned.
